New 'Hocus Pocus' Sanderson Sisters Harveys Bags at Walt Disney World

Aug 20, 2023

It’s all just a bunch of hocus pocus! New “Hocus Pocus” Sanderson Sisters Harveys bags have arrived at Walt Disney World. We found the two bags in Uptown Jewelers at Magic Kingdom, the park’s home to designer bags, clothes, and jewelry.

Harveys signature bags are made from seatbelt material. This small collection includes a crossbody and a tote.

One side of this bag features a large print of the three Sanderson Sisters standing in a circle between black tree branches. “Disney Hocus Pocus” is beneath them and an image of a skeleton in a yellow coffin is at the bottom. Two black birds are at the top of the image with the Roman numeral III for the three sisters.

The rest of the bag is black, and each belt features an orange and purple pattern.

The images in the pattern include different “Hocus Pocus” houses, the Sanderson Sisters, trees, candles, and graves. It has two purple handles.

The zipper is orange with Winifred’s magic book as the zipper pull.

The interior lining is black and white and features some of the same iconography as the outside of the bag.

It also includes an adjustable orange strap printed with the spell they chant during “I Put a Spell on You.”

The crossbody purse is also purple with the same adjustable orange strap.

The belts are patterned with the three Sanderson Sisters, a black cat, a frog, a cauldron, and other magic iconography.

It includes charms of the three sisters flying their brooms.

It has the same interior lining and book zipper pull.

The Sanderson Sisters are a witch trio featured in the 1993 Disney film “Hocus Pocus” and its 2022 sequel “Hocus Pocus 2.” They are portrayed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. In the original, the sisters are resurrected 300 years after their deaths in Salem. Unless they can suck the life out of at least one child before Halloween ends, they will turn to dust when the sun rises.

While not initially a box office success during its original release, “Hocus Pocus” has become a staple of the Halloween season, finally getting a sequel in 2022. “Hocus Pocus 3” is also planned.

During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the witches host the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” in which they summon Disney Villains to help with their party potion.

Last year, Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle debuted Sanderson Sisters costumes at Disneyland Resort and on Disney Cruise Line. This year, they will appear in the outfits during Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
